SOMETHING ABOUT TURKISH COFFEE
Share
Turkish coffee is the most popular way to make coffee at home. It is prepared in a cezve and by boiling. It is best to use a cup for a measure of water - add one heaped teaspoon of coffee to one measure of water. The process of making Turkish coffee is as follows: fill the cezve with cold water and add finely ground coffee. Wait a minute for the coffee to steep and then stir it. As the water approaches the boiling point, you will notice a nice foamy layer forming. The coffee will start to rise after a few seconds and then it is time to set it aside (before it boils). Before serving the coffee, leave it for at least 2-3 minutes to let the coffee 'settle down.' The coffee flavor is intense and strong.
